Hosting a Seminar
Almost every seminar on our schedule was organized by someone just like you. That means you don't have to wait for a seminar to come to your area. You can make it happen by scheduling one to take place right at your own facility. And organizing a seminar is easy to do!

 Benefits

Holding a seminar at your facility has a number of benefits:
  • You and any attendees who are a part of the group that you organize will receive a special discounted rate.
  • You will save on travel costs, such as gas and lodging, since it will be held at a location close to you that you specify.
  • It's more convenient for you and your colleagues because you will be able to not only determine the location but also select the dates when the seminar will take place.
 Minimum Requirements

Requirements for hosting a 3-day Comprehensive or 4-Day Comprehensive CRT/RRT Seminar:
  • Provide a classroom at no charge, with a minimum seating capacity of 40.
  • Find 12 or more participants who will commit to participating in the seminar.
  • Submit an $85 deposit from each participant at least 75 days in advance.
Requirements for hosting a 2-Day CRT, NPS, CPFT, RPFT, CCT or AE-C Seminar:
  • Provide a classroom at no charge, with a minimum seating capacity of 35.
  • Find 12 or more participants who will commit to participating in the seminar.
  • Submit an $85 deposit from each participant at least 75 days in advance.
Requirements for hosting a 2-Day Rad Tech Seminar:
  • Provide a classroom at no charge, with a minimum seating capacity of 30.
  • Find 12 or more participants who will commit to participating in the seminar.
  • Submit a $75 deposit from each participant at least 75 days in advance.
 First Steps Back to top

If you're able to meet the minimum requirements above, your first step toward setting up a seminar will be to contact our office so that we can put you in touch with our Executive Director, who will place your seminar on our schedule. Seminars may begin on any day of the week. Because our schedule fills up quickly - especially our Spring and Summer seminar schedules - you should contact us as early as possible to make sure we have an instructor available for the dates you prefer.

Once we have agreed upon the dates to hold the seminar, we provide you with a form to distribute to anyone you think might be interested in attending. You are welcome to recruit from anywhere you wish, so you may want to contact other institutions locally to find out if they would like to be a part of your group.

The rate each individual in your group will pay is determined by the total number of people who register and provide a deposit to us 75 days prior to the start of the seminar. In other words, the more people you recruit by the 75-day deadline, the better the price per individual will be. You and your colleagues will save at least $60 off the normal rate by hosting one of our 2-day seminars and at least $100 off the normal rate when hosting a 3-day or 4-day Comprehensive Review just by meeting the minimum requirements. Larger groups will save even more! (Ask us about our pricing when you contact us to set up a seminar.) The deposit payment paid 75 days in advance will be applied toward the final rate determined for your group. The remaining balance is due at least 7 days prior to the first day of the seminar.

We will confirm the seminar and make it available to the general public once we have received the minimum number of deposits for your group. If, by chance, you do not get the commitment needed to hold the seminar by the deadline, the deposits are returned and the seminar simply does not happen. There is no risk in trying to organize a seminar.
